There are many ways to access government and community organisations, but sometimes you just want to talk to someone, face to face, in your community.
That is exactly what Heartland Services offers here at the Fiordland Community House.

Vicki & Anna are our coordinators and are here to help you with any government department. We have application forms available for Work & Income, IRD, Immigration & Internal Affairs, and we can access other department websites on your behalf.

+ Our services provide a convenient meeting place for local people to discuss their needs directly with agencies and community organisations.
+ Provision of benefit forms for support by Work and Income New Zealand
+ Providing a venue for government agents to meet with you
+ Making appointments on your behalf
+ Advising a government agent to contact you
+ Direction to the government departments that can best help with your situation
+ Assistance in referring you for benefit support
+ Providing application forms for various benefits
+ Liaising with a case manager to fast-track any procedure
+ Assistance in completing forms in hard copy or online
