There are many ways to access government and community organisations but sometimes you just want to talk to someone, face to face, in your own community.

Community Connector

As a Connector, we're available to support people in the community, including those who are self-isolating because of Covid.

Counselling

Monty Temple provides counselling to individuals, couples and families in the Fiordland area. Working together to find a way forward.

Community Health Shuttle

The shuttle service runs with prior bookings Monday-Friday for appointments in Invercargill.

Community Family Worker

The Community Family Worker is available in a supportive role for anyone experiencing hardship and wanting assistance to achieve positive change in their own lives.

Community Foodbank

Fiordland Community House support those in our community that need assistance with their food requirements.

Fiordland Multicultural Community

The Fiordland Multicultural community get together regularly to enable those both new and old in our community to meet.

Whanau Ora is a whanau-centric service that supports families to achieve their goals and aspirations.

We have several offices and meeting rooms of various sizes available for hire. All rooms have Wi-Fi connection with power included in the rates.

The community house is run by an experienced Board of Trustees, our Manager and her team along with our dedicated volunteers who offer their help and assistance when required.

The attractive town of Te Anau lies nestled on the edge of a beautiful lake, with a spectacular backdrop of Mt Luxmore and the Murchison Mountains.

Te Anau provides a full range of services and activities and is the closest service point to Milford Sound.

Fiordland is the perfect environment for living and working, whether you are looking for a permanent full-time position, seasonal position or lifestyle situation where you work over the summer and travel or take time off in the winter.
